Team returns to Tech to compete for national spots

For the third consecutive week, the ACU men’s and women’s track and field teams will compete on the campus of Texas Tech in Lubbock. Both Wildcat teams will attempt to add more automatic and provisional national qualifiers at the Red Raider Invitational, to take place Saturday at the Athletic Training Center in Lubbock.

The 14-team field will include Texas Tech, Dallas Baptist, Texas Southern, Wayland Baptist, Texas A&M-Kingsville, Louisiana-Monroe, South Plains College, McMurry, New Mexico Junior College, Texas-Arlington, Southwestern Christian College, Ranger College and Pima Junior College.

The meet will begin at 10 a.m. with field events, followed by running events at 12:30 p.m. The meet will be open to the public at no charge.
