ACU senior forward Jamie Meyer was named to two NCAA Division II all-American teams for her play during the 2009-2010 season.

Meyer was named to the third team of the Dartronics all-American team. The team is voted on by the sports information directors from Division II programs. Meyer was also named honorable mention all-American by the Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Association.

Meyer finished ninth in the country in scoring with 21 points-per-game.

Head Coach Shawna Lavender is not surprised by the awards Meyer has received this season.

“It’s not by accident that she has received all of the post-season honors,” said Lavender. “She is one of the top players in the country, no doubt.”
