Tuesday, Sept. 28

3 a.m. ACU Police saw a man and a child sleeping in a car on an ACU parking lot. Subjects were identified, the welfare of the child was checked and both subjects were allowed to leave campus.

4:30 p.m. Someone reported that her bicycle had been stolen from the bike rack between the College of Biblical Studies Bldg. and the Campus Center.

6:30 p.m. ACU Police received a call in reference a criminal trespassing in progress in the 400 block of EN 23rd.

Wednesday, Sept. 29

6:35 p.m. ACU Police assisted Abilene Police on a call of shoplifting in progress at Walmart.

6:45 p.m. Someone reported the theft of her locked bicycle from the Sikes Hall bicycle rack.

Thursday, Sept. 30

9:30 a.m. Someone reported their money had been stolen from the Exercise Science offices.

8 p.m. Someone reported that his wallet was taken while he was playing basketball in the University Church of Christ Gym.

9:45 p.m. Someone from McDonald Hall reported that someone had been tampering with her dorm room refrigerator, resulting in damaged food items. The student also reported a hat was missing from her dorm room.

10:25 p.m. Abilene Police requested ACU Police to handle a harassment call in the 2500 block of Campus Court. A person was threatening to come over and shoot up the house.

Friday, Oct. 01

1:24 a.m. Someone contacted ACU Police to report she had seen someone outside her window in the 600 block of EN 16th street.

9:30 a.m. ACU Police assisted Abilene Police with a major vehicle accident at Ambler Avenue and Stanford. The officer arrived at the scene and discovered it was a medical emergency and not a vehicle accident. The officer advised Abilene Police to cancel their unit.

9 a.m. ACU Police checked the area of 1200 Ruswood for parking violations. Abilene Police had reported multiple parking violator’s blocking the alley. The address was found to be having a garage sale.

11:35 a.m. Someone reported the theft of her wallet from her dorm room as well as a gift card belonging to her roommate.

11:55 p.m. Someone reported a loud party in the 2400 block of Garfield. Officers contacted the tenant and warned him about the violation. The tenant complied with the request.

Saturday, Oct. 02

1:56 p.m. ACU Police investigated two subjects causing a disturbance at the Dollar General on N Judge Ely. Subjects were attempting to damage an ice machine outside the store.

Sunday, Oct. 03

9:49 p.m. Someone reported a man wearing all dark clothing had walked into her house through an open back door, then left when she and her roommates screamed. ACU Police checked the house and surrounding area, but could not locate the man.

Monday, Oct. 04

9:40 p.m. Someone reported a noise violation in the 800 block of EN 19th. ACU Police located the noise and advised tenants to lower the music volume.
