Three players were named Newcomers of the Year: Cameron’s Julie Paunovic, Tarleton’s Peyton Adamson, and West Texas A&M’s Devin Griffin. Haylee Oliver of Angelo State and Dianna Jones of Midwestern State share the title of Freshman of the Year. Midwestern State also claimed the Coach of the Year award, celebrating Noel Johnson’s successful year.

Midwesten State claimed a second LCS Coach of the Year title, after head coach Nelson Haggerty led his team to a 23-3 overall season and finishing first in the LSC.

"Ending my college education early was always the plan for me, but the things that I have been able to see, experience and examine about ACU’s community were not. I have found immense growth in ACU over the past three and a half years, but ACU still has a long road to climb if it wants to keep catering to students as the world changes around them."
