The entire men’s tennis team will go to Houston Friday to take on Prairie View A&M University and Rice University.
The men’s team traveled to Austin Tuesday to play the no. 12 University of Texas Longhorns. ACU was able to make great competition, though they ended up losing in both singles and doubles. The Wildcats are expected to perform better in Friday’s matches and will play against less competitive teams in Houston.
“I am very excited to see what our team has to offer this weekend, it will be tough matches and we will be pushed, and that is when a teams character will come out,” senior Marco Bensley said. “I know the guys have prepared well over the summer, the fall and the break and so I believe everyone will be ready to go and give it their all.”
The men will complete all their matches Friday, starting with Prairie View A&M at 9 a.m. and Rice at 1 p.m.
