Freshman point guard Jaylen Franklin helped lead ACU men’s basketball to its best season in recent memory. The Wildcats finished the season 13-18 and 8-10 in the conference, enough for a seventh place finish after being predicted to finish last in the Southland. Franklin was selected as the Freshman of the Year after averaging 16.2 points per game on 51 percent shooting from the field.
