Faculty, staff, donors and members of the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees gathered Friday afternoon to ceremonially break ground on the second residence hall in the university’s Freshman Village along East North 16th Street. The hall will be named after the Wessel family to commemorate its longstanding generosity toward the university and its students, said Dr. Phil Schubert, president of the university.
