The Wildcats had their first home opener against the Northern Illinois University Huskies, going 3-1 with their last game on Sunday. The Wildcats won the first three games with scores of 16-6 (7 innings), 12-2 (8 innings), 10-4, but couldn’t make a full sweep and lost the Sunday match 7-14. The team will head to Globe Life Park on Wednesday to take on Oklahoma State at 7:05 p.m..
