The Wildcats secured their first Western Athletic Conference victory on Thursday, defeating the California Baptist Lancers 3-2. The Wildcats claimed the first two sets of the match, 25-20 and 30-28, before the Lancers answered by winning the third and fourth sets, 25-20 and 25-23, with ACU bringing it home with the final set, 15-11. The team will play its second match of the season at 11 a.m. on Saturday against Seattle University.
