Snow began falling across Abilene on Friday night and continued through the weekend, leaving campus blanketed in white by Sunday. In response to the winter weather, the university canceled classes Monday and extended the closure through at least Tuesday. Students and community members took advantage of the snow with sleds, snowball fights and creative ways to get around campus.
