Wildcat Week will host a concert with Eric Hutchinson and Kirk House tonight in the Teague Special Events Center at 8 p.m.
Students, faculty, staff and their families can get into the free event with their IDs, and should bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Hutchinson, an artist from New York City, performs acoustic, singer/songwriter pop similar to artists like John Mayer and Ben Rector. His top song on Spotify titled “Rock and Roll” has almost 14 million plays.
“They were really excited to play at the university,” said Meg Patton, Wildcat Week student director.
Patton, senior graphic design major from Abilene, said the band did have to edit their set list to play appropriate music for the ACU audience.
Local blues artist Kirk House will open for Eric Hutchinson at 8 p.m. His guitar and bass grooves can be compared to Lenny Kravitz and Darius Rucker.
