High winds and heavy rains didn't stop pilots from coming out for the 19th annual Big Country Balloon Fest at Red Bud Park this past weekend. Heavy rain grounds hot air balloon fest
The Big Country Balloon Fest was unable to perform any scheduled flights as a result of massive rainfall on Friday and Saturday evening. The annual 10K run was rescheduled for Sunday morning. Balloon Fest to brighten Big Country skies
The 16th annual Big Country Balloon Fest started this morning at 7:30 a.m. in Redbud Park. The Optimist Unlimited Club of Abilene holds the Balloon Fest each year as its major fundraiser.
