Of all the things I never thought I would see, and all the things I never thought I would do. The Optimist endorse a Democrat, to read about it in the national media and to send you a letter to the Editor! It is a whole new world!

All that to say, I am exceedingly proud of you all! I know a lot of your mail is pretty ugly these days and I wanted to let you know there are many alum out here that not only agree but would stand up any time you needed us for your right to publish such an endorsement.

It also got me looking at the paper online. You are doing a great job!
