The soccer team will travel to Oklahoma to take on SW Oklahoma State and Central Oklahoma, two key conference opponents, this weekend.
The Wildcats square off against the Lady Bulldogs of SW Oklahoma State in Weatherford, Okla., Friday. SWOS is on a four-game losing streak, after being defeated by West Texas A&M 4-0 Wednesday. The Lady Bulldogs’ record stands at 4-8 overall.
The Wildcats then will face a powerful Central Oklahoma team with a 9-4-1 record. The Wildcats will try to contain UCO forward Brittni Walker, who leads the team with six goals and 17 points
Wildcat goalkeeper Crissy Lawson continues to set the pace for her team, which has a record of 7-3-1. Lawson has allowed only 11 goals this season, compiling a .823 save percentage. On the offensive side, forward Courtney Wilson continues to lead the team in goals and points.
Following their road trip to Oklahoma, the Wildcats will have only five more regular season games, including two home games, before the postseason.
