ACU Defensive End Nick Jones met his father for the first time ever in the team’s hotel lobby a day before the Wildcats played Northwest Missouri State. Jones’ father, Perry Hogsten, and his mother, Stephanie Jones, had been separated when Hogsten was unexpectedly deployed with the Air Force in the 80’s. Jones moved to Amarillo and the two never reconnected. But after a facebook search Nick and his father were united for the first time.
