A strong line of storms tore through West Central Texas on Thursday, causing minor damage across campus.

High winds knocked down a tree branch between the Don Morris Building and the Shore Art Gallery, and heavy rains carried mud and water into the lower levels of several buildings.

Temporary power outages were also reported around campus, and the lights in the Smith-Adams dorm parking lot were out for several minutes.
