Anna Ciufo, freshman animal science major from The Woodlands, still is being treated at Dallas’ Parkland Medical Hospital for a serious pelvic fracture, a tibia and fibula fracture and a heel fracture, according to Rod Brady, worship arts minister at her church, Grace Crossing. Doctors expect to perform surgeries over the course of the next few days and transfer her to Houston for rehab.

Ciufo’s parents traveled to Dallas from the Houston area Saturday morning.
