Jeanine Varner, provost of the university, announced this morning she will be stepping down from her position, effective this fall.

“I am sorry to announce that at the end of this academic year, I will complete my service as ACU’s Provost,” Varner said in an email sent out today. “I have loved working with the capable, devoted faculty, and I have been enormously blessed to be your colleague. In the near future, Phil [Schubert] will announce his plans for the search process.”
