The ACU football team traveled to New Mexico to take on FBS member New Mexico State and lost 34-29. Charkandrick West scored a couple of touchdowns in the loss. Darrell Cantu-Harkless caught a touchdown pass as well. ACU almost executed a Hail Mary in the closing seconds to win the game. Taylor Gabriel recorded 15 catches in the game.
