The Wildcats traveled to Plano to take on the University of Central Arkansas Bears in a neutral-site game. With Parker McKenzie out with a concussion, redshirt freshman quarterback Kade Munden started in his first career game. The ground game was key, with Munden running for 100 yards and De’Andre Brown with 171 yards. Defense also led the attack, forcing seven turnovers including Justin Stephens’ interception and Jonathan Epps’ 68 yard interception return for a touchdown.
