On Monday, Nov. 10, the ground breaking for the new science building, The Onstead Center, occurred. Kay Onstead who donated a large part of the 45 million was in attendance and shoveled one of the first mounds of dirt in front of the building. The ground breaking was a ceremony indicating the construction that will begin in mid-December.
