The band Judah & The Lion will perform at 8 p.m. in Cullen Auditorium on Thursday January 21. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by cash or card in the campus center after chapel.

Judah & The Lion is a pop-folk group from Nashville whose sound forms a complex union between pop, bluegrass, Southern gospel and rock. The band is made up of singer/guitarist Judah Akers, mandolin player Brian Macdonald and banjo player Nate Zuercher who all met while at Belmont University in Nashville.

The band’s 2013 EP, “Sweet Tennessee”, reached the No. 2 spot on Billboard‘s Bluegrass Albums chart and the band’s latest album “Kids These Days” was released in September of 2014. The band is currently in the middle of a nationwide tour.
