Police Log: Feb. 10-17, 2016

Weekly Highlight Report:

02/17/2016 9:10 p.m.

ACUPD responded to a suspicious person inside the Smith-Adams lobby. Officers found a non-ACU affiliated male in the lobby restroom and had him leave the premises.

02/19/2016 6:45 p.m.

ACUPD received a report of several juvenile males, skateboarding around GATA fountain, smoking cigarettes and being generally loud. Subject were gone on arrival.

02/21/2016 2:05 a.m.

ACUPD and APD both received reports of a noise violation: loud party with approximately 200 people at an ACU student’s house in the 400 block of College. APD arrived and disbanded the party prior to ACUPD’s arrival.

02/23/2016 4:30 p.m.

A student reported that an unknown driver struck his parked vehicle while it was parked in the Campus Center Lot. ACUPD investigation was able to identify the other driver and vehicle. Collision report completed.

Sororities and fraternities began New Member Orientation with Bid Day, officially starting the pledging process this weekend.Originally scheduled for last week, the start was delayed due to winter weather that brought snow and ice to campus.
