The men’s basketball team played conference opponent Sam Houston State Monday night at the Hardin Simmons gym because of Sing Song. The flu-stricken team was missing key player freshman Jaylen Franklin, and had double the turnovers of SHSU. Jaren Lewis had 17 points and 11 rebounds while Jalen Little had 19 points. The wildcats are back at home Sunday for a ESPN3 broadcast doubleheader with the women’s team.
