Citizens of Abilene gathered at Rose Park Tuesday evening to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake. Several community members spoke about injustices they have faced and societal changes they’d like to see. Despite the inclement weather, peaceful protesters unified to encourage others to protest racial injustices. Counter-protesters stood alongside the peaceful protesters and shared their opinions with those gathered to remember Blake.
