Gallery: Cardinals outlast Wildcats in conference matchup

The women’s basketball team fell to the Lamar Cardinals 71-65 in Teague Special Events Center Wednesday evening. The Wildcats now stand 10-5 as they prepare to face Lamar in Beaumont on Saturday.

The university is reporting its lowest number of active COVID-19 cases in the 2020-21 academic year with just one active case Friday. Quarantines also fell to the lowest of the spring semester with 19.
