The volleyball team faced off against UT Arlington for its opening weekend in Teague Special Events Center on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats defeated the Lady Mavericks 3-2 after falling on Friday evening. They now stand 1-1 as they prepare to face University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio on Thursday.
