After a whirlwind start to Homecoming weekend, the Wildcat football team defeated the Lamar University Cardinals for the second time this season 24-17 on Saturday afternoon in Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats now stand 4-3 overall as they prepare to face Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches on Oct. 30.
