The Department puts on an amazing show with ‘The Light in the Piazza’! Performed February 25th and 26th at Fulks Theater. The scene takes place in Italy as a Margaret Johnson and her daughter, Clara take a trip, Clara meets a young man and they quickly fall for one another. The play develops, it is up to Margaret to see if she is willing to tell the young man and his family the truth about Clara’s condition and put her love and happiness in jeopardy.
The Department of Theatre presented “The Light in the Piazza” as its annual winter musical, performed between Feb. 17-26 in the Fulks Theater. The story takes place in Italy as Margaret Johnson and her daughter Clara take a trip, meet a family and navigate the complicated twists and turns of young love.
