ACU Theatre is putting on its annual Cornerstone Play as part of the introductory course for freshmen, helping with the discussion of difficult topics and themes in the class. Director Joey Banks, professor of theatre, said in the director’s notes of the playbill that the department wanted to explore the idea of escapism with the presentation of the comedy The Play That Goes Wrong. Three performances were reserved for Cornerstone students, along with performances this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. that are open to the public.
