The women’s basketball team defeated the Sam Houston State University Bearkats 88-71 at home in Teague Special Events Center Thursday night. The Wildcats stand 8-6 in conference play as they enter the final stretch of the regular season and prepare to face Lamar University in Beaumont Thursday.
