To conclude its final home series the softball team defeated the Sam Houston State University Bearkats 7-3 at Poly Wells Field on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats now stand 13-8 in conference play as they prepare to face Stephen F. Austin on May 6 in Nacogdoches.
