Football narrowly lost their game against the Texas Tech Raiders, 52-51, in their first game of the season on Saturday. The game marked the homecoming of quarterback Maverick McIvor and head coach Keith Patterson, who both left Tech two seasons ago. The Wildcats are now 0-1 overall and prepare to face West Georgia in their first home game on Sept. 7 at Anthony Field.
