Police Log: Alcoholic beverages confiscated in Dillard Hall

9/24/2024 1415 hrs. Alcohol Incident, Dillard Hall

ACUPD provided standby while ACU staff conducted an administrative search of a room in Dillard Hall. Alcoholic beverages were discovered and confiscated by ACUPD for disposal. No citations were issued but a referral to the Dean of Students was made for the alcohol violation.   

9/22/2024 1800 hrs. Private Property Crash, Nelson Hall Lot 

ACUPD responded to the Nelson Hall Lot and took a report for a minor accident between two students. No injuries reported. 

9/22/2024 0100 hrs. Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor, Bullock Hall

ACUPD responded to reports of a heavily intoxicated minor at Bullock Hall. The student was uncooperative with ACU staff and EMS was called to check on them medically. The student was arrested for possession of a fictitious ID, consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of tobacco product by a minor. 

9/20/2024 1100 hrs.  Theft New, Mabee Hall   

An ACU student reported that his bike was stolen from the bike racks at New Mabee Hall over the night. CCTV revealed suspects taking the bike from the bike racks and leaving campus. Investigation is ongoing.

Several ACU students were removed from the seating behind the Utah Valley bench late in the fourth quarter while arguing with UVU fans. After a conversation with ACUPD and other staff members, they were relocated to the stands near the UVU bench on the south baseline.

An altercation occurred between Associate Head Coach Yannick Denson and UVU Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Josh Morzelewski ahead of the 1 p.m. tip. The playing surface was mopped less than an hour before tip, while the Wolverines were completing their pregame warmups.
