ACU put together a strong second-half effort in Fort Worth on Saturday night but ultimately fell to TCU, 42-21. The Wildcats totaled over 400 yards of offense and scored four times after halftime, led by quarterback Stone Earle, who threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns. Rovaughn Banks Jr. recorded his second career 100-yard rushing game with 105 yards and a touchdown, while receivers J.B. Mitchell III and Dallas Dudley each contributed key catches. Now sitting at 1-2 on the season, ACU will return home to open United Athletic Conference play against Austin Peay at 7 p.m. on Sept. 20 at Wildcat Stadium.
