Gallery: Intramural flag football begins with week one matchups

Intramural flag football opened Thursday at the Larry Sanders Intramural Fields with a full slate of games across the men’s, women’s and championship divisions. Teams began regular-season play with several close finishes and high-scoring matchups. The following are the results from Sept. 11:

Women’s Rec

  • Slaydies 40, GATA 0

  • Hot Flashes 7, Princess Power 6

  • Midnight Blitz 6, Goofy Goobs 0

Men’s Rec

  • G-rippy 18, JV Warriors 7

  • G-novers 18, Oreos 13

  • Golden Boys 30, Lee Corso’s Pick 0

  • GSP – Crashouts 22, Deep Balls 12

  • Frater Sodalis win by forfeit vs. Senior Citizens

  • The Goodship 25, Gamma Sigma Phi 20

Men’s Champ

  • G1 34, MW 6
