The Wildcats played Utah Tech on January 29, losing 76–70. The game featured the first-ever Battle of the Res Halls, where students from Bullock, Edwards, and Smith-Adams competed in attendance for a chance to win a trophy and an exclusive food giveaway awarded to the winning hall at the end of the season. The Wildcats will have another chance to claim a victory in Moody Coliseum on January 31 at 3 p.m. against Southern Utah.
