Softball dropped its home-opening doubleheader to South Dakota State 12-3 and 8-5 on Wednesday at Poly Wells Field. The losses came in ACU’s first games at home this season. The Wildcats will travel to Austin to compete in the Bevo Classic, beginning with a matchup against No. 2 Texas on Thursday.
