Gallery: BSU marches for change in Parade of Peace

October 15, 2020 by David Mitchell

Members of the ACU community gathered at the Hardin Administration Building to peacefully protest racial injustice during the Parade of Peace Wednesday morning. Led by the Black Student Union, students, faculty and staff silently marched across campus with homemade signs in a time of reflection. After marching to the GATA Fountain, BSU members concluded the parade with a devotional remembering the Black lives lost to police violence.

The Optimist
"Ending my college education early was always the plan for me, but the things that I have been able to see, experience and examine about ACU’s community were not. I have found immense growth in ACU over the past three and a half years, but ACU still has a long road to climb if it wants to keep catering to students as the world changes around them."
