This weekend’s Lone Star Conference First-Pitch Tournament was cancelled Thursday after conference officials deemed the poor weather and road conditions in the Metroplex to dangerous.

Irving was to host the first tournament of the season for the Wildcats. The Wildcats were scheduled to start the tournament today and play Southwestern Oklahoma State.

ACU has actually missed more games to weather conditions than it has played. The Wildcats own a 3-1 record and have now lost six games due to weather conditions.

Weather permitting, the Wildcats are scheduled to return to the field Tuesday at 5 p.m. with a doubleheader against Midwestern State at Wells Field.
