Summit Replay, a program focused on recording Summit events, lectures and classes will be available for purchase again this year.
Replay is just one more way that the Summit experience stretches beyond the geographic location of Abilene and beyond the four days designated to Summit.
Summit Replay allows people who are unable to make it to Abilene for the conference to experience Summit by watching online on ACU’s website or by ordering online.
Brady Bryce, director of ministry events, said, “There are many people who listen or watch live online with their church, home group or with friends in their living room. Replay allows the great experiences at Summit to be captured and played at a later time in Sunday school, church conferences and home group Bible studies.”
Summit has taken place on the Abilene Christian University campus every third week in September for 106 years. The goal has always been to worship and strengthen relationships with Him. Replay allows this growth to take place not only in Abilene, but also around the United States.
Austin Pretiger, junior social work major, said, “My parents live in Georgia and they both came to ACU so this Summit Replay allows them to continue to be apart of the ACU tradition that they loved being apart of.”
Summit Replay provides audio and video for people who want to listen and watch during and after the event.
“After hearing Collin Packer’s message this morning, it is a sermon that I would like to listen to again and be able to listen to the key note speakers that my schedule does not permit me to attend. The online features of Replay make this a reality,” says Joey Hatton, history education major.
The feature of Replay enhances the experience of Summit. It is no longer just a three and a half day session that ends on Wednesday. Replay allows Summit to become a year round experience with the opportunity to order DVD’s and CD’s from the Summit store online.
