Men’s basketball hosted Southern Utah at Moody Coliseum on Saturday, falling 79–76 in a conference matchup. Rich Smith led ACU with 18 points and five assists, while Cbo Newton added 17 points. The loss brings ACU to 10–11 overall and 2–6 in WAC play. The Wildcats head to California for a 7 p.m. tipoff on Saturday.
