Faculty art show opens downtown

Abilene Zoo to open new giraffe exhibit

The Abilene Zoo will open its new giraffe exhibit to the public on Saturday after four years of planning and construction. The Abilene Zoo has had a giraffe exhibit since 1968 when zoo officials purchased two females. Sororities and fraternities began New Member Orientation with Bid Day, officially starting the pledging process this weekend.Originally scheduled for last week, the start was delayed due to winter weather that brought snow and ice to campus.
