May 4, 2011 by Jozie Sands

It is understandable for people who lost loved ones in the World Trade Center attacks to feel closure, because the man who publicly claimed responsibility for ... [Read More…]

Considered jobs offer memories

March 25, 2011 by Jozie Sands

As soon as kids are old enough to talk, we start asking them what they want to be when they grow up. It's just one of those questions that comes up. Holiday offers excuse for treats

February 11, 2011 by Jozie Sands

Growing up, Valentine's Day went pretty much the same way every year: I went to school and did all the normal  Valentine's Day stuff. I exchanged cards with my friends, watched for the hourly interruptions when candy-grams would be delivered and hoped for the big deliveries from the main office. These were always bouquets of flowers or baskets of ... [Read More…]

Restroom habits disgust student

January 26, 2011 by Jozie Sands

Public restrooms wrecked my faith in humanity. The whole idea of sharing a toilet with hundreds of my closest strangers has always made me a bit queasy, but once I started to notice how many people left the restroom without washing their hands my faith was shattered. People I saw at school and church on a regular basis  would walk out of the ... [Read More…]
