ACU shot 7-under-par as a team for a total score of 857, and junior Garrett Glanton shot 7-under-par to finish third individually and lead the team to just its third team ... [Read More…]

After finishing top-10 in all four fall tournaments, the Wildcats ran into some stiff competition in their first spring tournament at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate and came in 14th. ACU got off to a slow start in their first two rounds, as wet course conditions didn't help. The team posted over par scores of 319 and 290, digging a ... [Read More…]

Wildcats struggle against streaking Southeastern Louisiana

February 20, 2018 by Jonathan Raitz

It was a low-scoring affair for both teams, but Southeastern Louisiana held the Wildcats to just 54 points and 34 percent shooting from the field, as the Lions marched to a 68-54 victory and their fifth-straight win. The Lions controlled the tempo for most of the game, as ACU never trailed by less than double digits from the 5:47 mark in the ... [Read More…]

Wildcats make quick trip to Southeastern Louisiana

February 17, 2018 by Jonathan Raitz

It was over a month ago that Southeastern Louisiana snuck out of Moody Colisuem with a 72-70 victory and dashed the Wildcats' hopes of a perfect 3-0 home stand to start conference. Since then, SLU has tapered very little, solidifying itself as a top contender in the Southland Conference and positioned in a three-way tie for second place at ... [Read More…]

February 16, 2018 by Jonathan Raitz

Junior forward Jaren Lewis has been a valuable asset for the Wildcats ever since arriving and starting as a true freshman. But after posting 15-plus points and rebounds in consecutive games last week, the 6-foot-6 Orlando, Florida native may be playing the best basketball of his ACU career. In a losing effort against league-leader Nicholls ... [Read More…]
