Best things in life should be free

April 6, 2011 by Linda Bailey

However, this particular morning I paid $2 for a cup of vanilla hazelnut from Einstein Bros. Bagels. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, but it was still $2. And 33.9 oz. of Folgers is still going to run you about ... [Read More…]

The great outdoors of dining

March 22, 2011 by Linda Bailey

When flipping through college brochures, prospective students almost always find pictures of college kids enjoying a lazy day on campus basking in the warm sun. As a senior in college, however, I've noticed that few students take advantage of outside opportunities - especially when it comes to dining. Now that winter is over and spring has sprung, ... Tuition hikes cause faculty concerns

March 11, 2011 by Linda Bailey

As tuition rises, so do some related faculty concerns. The Board of Trustees voted to raise tuition nearly 10 percent for the coming school year, and some faculty members say they are concerned it could outprice some prospective students, including children of faculty, and leave other students with mounds of debt. Tuition for the 2011-12 academic ... [Read More…]

"Ending my college education early was always the plan for me, but the things that I have been able to see, experience and examine about ACU’s community were not. I have found immense growth in ACU over the past three and a half years, but ACU still has a long road to climb if it wants to keep catering to students as the world changes around them."
