20-year-old Lindsey Smith, junior from New Braunfels, was pronounced dead on the scene after a head-on collision on TX-36 near Abilene Regional Airport at 8:21 p.m. Friday. Ko Jo Kai and Trojans took first place at the 70th annual intramural rodeo on Thursday at the Taylor Telecom Arena.
