A grass fire scorched 75 acres North of Abilene, near Highway 351 behind the Walmart and Coca-Cola plant. The fire was quickly contained by emergency crews from Abilene, the U.S. Forestry Service and the Texas Forestry Service responded and were able to quickly contain the fire.
