Bean Bucks to be used off-campus

August 28, 2013 by Alikay Wood

One student's idea will soon become a campus-wide program. Nathan McClain, senior kinesiology major, was searching for ways to eat off-campus without spending a lot of his own money. He heard about TCU's Frog Bucks program and wondered why ACU didn't have a similar system. McClain designed a program that allows students to use their ID cards ... [Read More…]

The student organization, For the Least of These, will be collecting food donations bought using students' left over Bean Bucks during finals week. World Famous Bean dresses to impress

August 29, 2011 by David Singer

Freshmen, I would first like to extend a welcome. It's always nice to return to find 400 taller and older looking guys roaming campus who are allegedly younger than me (there is no way that one guy is 18). Now, today's lunch is probably not your first in the World Famous Bean. You enjoyed its range of deliciously digestible dishes when you ... [Read More…]

"Ending my college education early was always the plan for me, but the things that I have been able to see, experience and examine about ACU’s community were not. I have found immense growth in ACU over the past three and a half years, but ACU still has a long road to climb if it wants to keep catering to students as the world changes around them."
