The ACU defense dominated the No. 1 offense in Divison II, holding them to just 303 total yards of offense, less than half of their season average. Reggie Brown and Darryl Richardson both rushed for over a hundred yards. Brown would finish the game with a career high 235 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Richardson totaled 143 yards on the ground.
